You may be wondering if you or a loved one has been experiencing anxiety. In this post you can review anxiety symptoms and get a better idea if anxiety may be present.
The primary symptom of anxiety is often feeling anxious or worried. Additionally, check to see if any of the following signs of anxiety apply to you or your loved one:
Feeling restless or on edge
Get worn out easily
Difficulty with concentration or mind often goes blank
Muscles often tense
Difficulty with sleeping
If three or more of the above 6 symptoms have been happening for a long time, you feel anxious or worried more days than not, and experienced symptoms are affecting you or a loved one’s life, there is a high likelihood that anxiety is present. The only way to be sure, however, is by talking with a mental health professional or primary care physician who can rule out other potential causes of these symptoms and really look at the nuance of these experiences.
